Tiger's Eye
Tiger's Eye is my 2025-26 capstone project. The film centers around Harper, a criminal underling, who works under her boss, Angelo. Harper is ordered to steal a precious jewel called the "Tiger's Eye" during a museum gala. During the event, she finds herself torn between a new love interest and her boss's orders. Who will she decide to follow?
Above is a clip of Angelo from my initial vertical slice. This clip did not make it into the final film, so I can show it here before my film's official release!

The Characters
The characters' reference sheets are currently being reworked, but those and their character bios will go here shortly!
Inspiration and Preparation for the Film
My thesis film takes inspiration from many different sources. I'm very passionate about film, television, and theatre history, so the characters and environment take a lot from my favorite stories.
Angelo, the mafia boss character, is modeled after Richard Mulligan, but takes a lot from some soap opera villains, namely Rusty Sentell Sr. from Search for Tomorrow.
Harper, his underling, takes from many different inspirations; mainly Marlene Dietrich, Katherine Hepburn, Haruka Tenou.
Clair, the love interest of Tiger's Eye, takes inspiration from great performers like Josephine Baker and Valaida Snow.
The environment is based on many different sources. I initially studied the United Palace for the scenery, but when the concept shifted towards a museum space I had to make some adjustments.
